Report
The Münchweiler and Winnweiler fire departments were dispatched to a report of smoke coming from a power pole near a solar power plant in the Alsenbrück-Langmeil area. The MLF from Münchweiler and the HLF from Winnweiler were subsequently dispatched to assess the situation. It quickly became apparent that this was the same incident location as the previous day (B 243). Cleaning work was being carried out on power poles in the area of the solar park along the A 63 near Münchweiler an der Alsenz. The high-pressure washing created a cloud of steam that was mistaken for smoke. The firefighters were then able to stand down.
