The Imsbach Volunteer Fire Department has both a children's fire brigade for children ages 6 and up and a youth fire brigade for children ages 10 and up.
The children’s fire department was founded in 2008, currently has 25 members, and inspires children to take an interest in the world of firefighting from an early age by introducing them to related topics in a playful way. Creativity and teamwork are key elements that foster development while also providing optimal preparation for the youth fire department. There, members receive more comprehensive firefighting training designed to spark an interest in active fire service. But even here, there’s no shortage of fun and games, and in addition to training evenings, there are also recreational activities such as the annual camping trip! The youth fire department was founded in 2001 and currently has 11 members.
When?
- Children's Fire Department: Every Monday from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
- Youth Fire Department: Every Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
