Friends of the Winnweiler Volunteer Fire Department, Inc.
The Friends of the Winnweiler Volunteer Fire Department (e.V.) was founded on June 30, 1989. The association’s statutory mission and objective is to provide moral and material support to the Winnweiler Fire Department, particularly its emergency response personnel.
Examples of the Friends' Association's work:
- Purchase of a personnel carrier (MTF; see Vehicles)
- Purchase of an automated external defibrillator
- Support for youth programs and the youth fire department
- Grants for the Purchase of Personal Protective Equipment for Emergency Personnel
The association's work is funded by membership dues, donations, and events such as the mulled wine stand at the Christmas market and the open house.
