Fire station
The Imsbach Volunteer Fire Department was founded in 1875 and celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2025. Today, the active fire department consists of 21 firefighters, including 5 women. Twelve firefighters are also trained to use self-contained breathing apparatus.
The fire station is located on Hohlstraße, right next to the sports field. In 1998, a vehicle garage with a restroom was built. In 2012, the Friends of the Fire Department added a lounge and training room, including a kitchenette. As part of this project, the fire station was equipped with a heating system and a second restroom was installed. In 2023, after two years of construction, an additional vehicle garage was added, meaning that two vehicles are now stationed in Imsbach.
