Fire station
The Falkenstein Volunteer Fire Department was founded in 1886 and has been in existence for 140 years. Our fire station at Kreuzweg was inaugurated in 1989 and has served as a shelter for our tanker fire truck ever since. A new gate was recently installed here, which now also provides better insulation against the cold in winter. To ensure we have a suitable lounge area in the future, we are currently converting the existing attic. Completion is scheduled for fall 2026.
