Swap-body truck (WLF)
Radio call sign: Florian Winnweiler 1/65-1
The fire department's swap-body vehicle is used to transport interchangeable roll-off containers, allowing it to perform various tasks using a single chassis.
Thanks to its water roll-off container (AB-W), which has a capacity of 10,000 liters, the WLF is a crucial emergency vehicle, especially for wildfires, since large quantities of water are often required in such situations and the nearest source of water for firefighting is usually several hundred meters away.
Thanks to its two roll-off containers—the dump container and the logistics container—the WLF can also handle a wide range of tasks in the logistics sector.
