Immediately after responding to the wildfire on the A 63 near Lohnsfeld (B 176), the drone unit and the WLF with the roll-off water supply container were dispatched to assist with a wildfire in Orbis in the Kirchheimbolanden administrative district. After the roll-off container had been refilled with 10,000 liters of water, the crews proceeded to the scene.
Shortly thereafter, the Kirchheimbolanden Fire Department’s operations center reported back that no outside assistance was needed, so the vehicles from the Winnweiler Administrative District were able to abort their response.
