Pfalzwerke notified the Kaiserslautern Integrated Control Center of a power outage in the towns of Enkenbach, Fischbach, Münchweiler a.d.A., Neuhemsbach, and Sembach, which was expected to last longer than 60 minutes. As a result, the Münchweiler unit was alerted to man the fire station as an emergency call and information center (NIS) for the public.
Shortly thereafter, the Münchweiler Fire Department confirmed that power had been restored throughout the town. After consulting with the Integrated Control Center (ILS), the operation was then concluded.
