A fallen tree was reported on K 38 between Imsbach and Langental, prompting the Imsbach and Winnweiler units to be dispatched.
The situation was confirmed on site. A tree had fallen and was completely blocking the roadway. The Imsbach Fire Department began cutting up the tree with chainsaws so they could then remove the pieces from the roadway. During the operation, the Winnweiler Fire Department’s turntable ladder was requested because there were still additional branches hanging from the adjacent trees that were in danger of falling.
The branches were removed using a turntable ladder, allowing the road to be reopened once the work was completed.
