The operator of the Hohlsteinhütte contacted the Münchweiler Fire Department because a fallen tree was blocking the access road to the hut, which also serves as an emergency escape route. The firefighters drove to the scene and cut up the tree with a chainsaw, then cleared it out of the way to restore access.
