In Winnweiler, a post office called the fire department after employees noticed a package from which an unknown liquid was leaking.
The Winnweiler Fire Department dispatched one vehicle to the scene and opened the affected package on site. Inside, they found glass bottles filled with an unknown liquid. Two of the bottles were damaged, which had caused the liquid to leak. The firefighters then applied a binding agent to the already contaminated areas and ensured that no further contamination could occur. After the police arrived, the scene was handed over to them.
