The Münchweiler, Gonbach, and Winnweiler units were dispatched to a traffic accident involving a scooter in Münchweiler an der Alsenz. The first responders from the Münchweiler Fire Department found a scooter rider who had fallen and was already being assisted by bystanders.

The emergency responders attended to the patient and, shortly thereafter, handed him over to the emergency medical services for examination. The police were at the scene to document the accident. No further action was required on the part of the fire department, so all other units were able to stand down, and the Münchweiler unit returned to the station after a brief response. The patient was examined by the emergency physician from the rescue helicopter, who had also been alerted, but was not transported to a hospital.
