The units from Höringen, Gehrweiler, and Winnweiler were dispatched to secure a hazardous area on the L 387 between Höringen and Otterberg, as there was gravel on the road and a motorcyclist had already been involved in an accident there.
The motorcyclist was treated by emergency medical personnel while the Höringen unit secured the scene and cleared the gravel from the roadway. The Gehrweiler and Winnweiler units were not needed. The scene was subsequently handed over to the police.
