The Breunigweiler, Sippersfeld, and Winnweiler fire departments were called to an emergency door-opening incident in Breunigweiler after a person had fallen in their apartment. The Sippersfeld Fire Department carried out the door-opening operation and granted the emergency medical services access to the apartment.
After the patient received initial medical care, she was transported from the first floor to the ambulance via the window using a turntable ladder and subsequently taken to an appropriate hospital. The firefighters properly secured the door again and then concluded the operation.
