The Imsbach and Winnweiler fire departments were dispatched to an urgent door-opening call in Imsbach. Upon arrival, the firefighters were met by a family member who assumed there was a medical emergency because no one was answering the door. The firefighters then quickly gained access to the apartment for the emergency medical services, which had also been alerted. It turned out that the person inside the apartment had fallen and was unable to get up on her own. The emergency medical services examined and treated her, and the patient was subsequently able to remain at home. The firefighters properly locked the door again, after which the operation was concluded for all personnel.
