On the L 401, near the intersection with the L 390, a van was involved in a single-vehicle accident after skidding into the roadside ditch due to slippery road conditions. The driver was uninjured and was able to exit the vehicle on his own. The Winnweiler Fire Department dispatched one vehicle to secure the accident scene. The firefighters checked the vehicle for leaking fluids and secured the accident scene until the police arrived. In consultation with the police, the vehicle was pulled out of the roadside ditch with a winch after the accident report was filed.
