Report
Concerned passersby once again reported smoke in the vicinity of a high-voltage power line to the Kaiserslautern Integrated Control Center (ILS), this time on the L 401 between Wartenberg-Rohrbach and Lohnsfeld. As a result, the Wartenberg, Lohnsfeld, and Winnweiler units were alerted and dispatched to investigate.
It turned out that the smoke that had been spotted was actually coming from the L 401 near Börrstadt. Once again, it was a cloud of steam caused by cleaning work on the power poles there (see photos). The fire department was then able to call off the operation.
