The fire departments from Börrstadt, Winnweiler, Falkenstein, Imsbach, Lohnsfeld, Münchweiler, and Steinbach, as well as the tanker fire truck from Göllheim, were dispatched to a wildfire in Börrstadt. The first vehicle from the Börrstadt Fire Department to arrive on the scene found a burning pasture fence at the edge of a farm road. The fire had already spread to the surrounding vegetation, so the firefighters first used backpack fire extinguishers to prevent it from spreading further.

Once the fire was brought under control, the emergency crews began mop-up operations, removing the burned material to prevent the surrounding vegetation from reigniting and thoroughly extinguishing the debris using a wetting agent. With the exception of the TSF from the Börrstadt unit and the TLF 4000 from the Winweiler Fire Department, all other vehicles that had been dispatched were able to stand down.

In the end, approximately 20 m² of meadow and a section of the pasture fence had burned. The affected area was then inspected using a thermal imaging camera. After no elevated temperatures were detected, the emergency responders concluded their operation.
