Passersby reported a small brush fire on the L 394 near Börrstadt to the Kaiserslautern Integrated Control Center (ILS), which they had already extinguished. The Börrstadt unit then responded with one vehicle to inspect the scene.
Upon arrival, the firefighters found a burned area measuring less than 1 m², which was still emitting light smoke. The area was then doused intensively once more with a bucket pump to prevent it from reigniting. No further action was necessary.
