The Imsbach, Münchweiler, and Winnweiler fire departments were dispatched to a wildfire in Alsenbrück-Langmeil. The dispatch message already indicated that a meadow on private property had caught fire.
The first responders from the Imsbach Fire Department found that the owners had already extinguished the fire. Only the TLF 4000 from the Winnweiler Fire Department proceeded to the scene; all other vehicles called off the operation. Once on site, firefighters inspected the scene of the fire. The owner thoroughly doused the area with water once more. No further action was required on the part of the fire department.
