The Winnweiler and Göllheim fire departments were dispatched to a wildfire in the median strip of the construction zone on the A 63 in the direction of Mainz. The crews proceeded to the reported area but were unable to locate the fire. Subsequently, the section of the highway between the Winnweiler and Göllheim interchanges was thoroughly inspected in both directions. No fire was found there either. The crews then called off the operation.
