The swap-body vehicle (WLF) with the water supply roll-off container and the drone unit were dispatched to provide support for a reported “large wildfire” in Albisheim (Göllheim administrative district). The WLF first proceeded to the staging area.
The on-site crews encountered a vegetation fire covering an area of about 100 meters, which was quickly extinguished. The drone unit arrived at the scene and surveyed the surrounding area from the air for possible hot spots or isolated fires. Shortly thereafter, the WLF was able to leave the staging area without having to take any action.
