A vegetation fire broke out in Enkenbach-Alsenborn, affecting an area of approximately 1,000 m². The Winnweiler Fire Department’s TLF 4000 was called in for support about a quarter of an hour after the initial alarm was raised. Shortly thereafter, the HLF2 was also called in to provide basic protection at the Enkenbach site.
After about an hour, the emergency responders were able to declare the fire extinguished. Extensive mop-up operations followed.
