The Börrstadt, Steinbach, and Winnweiler fire departments, as well as the Göllheim Fire Department’s turntable ladder, were dispatched to a gazebo fire in a garden in Börrstadt. The first responders from the Börrstadt Fire Department promptly reported that the fire was caused by a barbecue or campfire and that no garden arbor was on fire. All units still en route were then able to cancel their response. The crews on site extinguished the fire with a C-hose after consulting with the owner and subsequently concluded their operation as well.
