In Winnweiler, burning tires were reported in a driveway, prompting the Winnweiler Fire Department’s HLF 1 to respond to the scene. Upon arrival, it turned out that only a trash can had been on fire, which residents had already extinguished before the fire department arrived. The firefighters inspected the extinguished debris with a thermal imaging camera and found no elevated temperatures. Consequently, no action was required on the part of the fire department. The police were also at the scene.
