In Winnweiler, a passerby reported finding a dead cat that could not initially be identified as belonging to anyone. The Winnweiler Fire Department then contacted Tierrettung Südwest to check the cat’s microchip. It turned out that the cat’s owner was at a local veterinary clinic, so the animal was taken there and returned to its owner.
