Early this morning, a collision involving a motorcycle and a wild animal occurred on the L 394 between Breunigweiler and Sippersfeld. Firefighters from Breunigweiler, Sippersfeld, and Winnweiler were dispatched to the scene and secured the accident site to protect it from oncoming traffic. They also provided first aid to the motorcyclist until emergency medical services arrived and then turned him over to them.
The district forester in charge was also at the scene and notified the police to document the accident. After the ambulance and the emergency medical response vehicle (EMRV) had left the scene, the scene was handed over to the police, and the fire department personnel concluded their operation.
