The police called the fire department to respond to a fallen tree on the K 4, whereupon the Höringen, Gehrweiler, and Winnweiler units were alerted. Upon arrival, the crews found a large branch blocking part of the roadway. The Höringen unit was able to move it to the side of the road by hand. In addition, the road was cleared of additional leaves and branches using a broom. All other crews were able to stand down. The affected tree was then inspected for any additional loose branches, but none were found. The police reopened the road to traffic after the measures were completed.
