The emergency medical services called in the fire department for an operation in Sippersfeld because the aerial ladder was needed to transport a patient from the residence to the ambulance. The Sippersfeld and Winnweiler units were then dispatched and carried out the rescue using the aerial ladder on site. They also assisted in transferring the patient to the ambulance. The patient was then transported to an appropriate hospital.
