A traffic accident occurred on the L 401 between Lohnsfeld and Wartenberg-Rohrbach, in which a motorcycle collided with a passenger car. As a result, the Lohnsfeld and Winnweiler units, along with the first-responder unit from Münchweiler and an ambulance, were dispatched to the scene.
At the scene, the injured motorcyclist was treated by emergency medical services. Firefighters secured the accident site from oncoming traffic, for which the Wartenberg-Rohrbach unit was also called in as backup. In addition, fluids leaking from the motorcycle were absorbed using absorbent material. The police were also at the scene and took charge of the accident investigation. Once this was completed, the firefighters cleared the roadway of debris and oil absorbent, moved the motorcycle to the side of the road, and, in consultation with the police, reopened the road to traffic. The operation was then concluded.
