A rescue helicopter with an emergency physician was dispatched to a medical emergency in Lohnsfeld. The ambulance crew was already with the patient when the helicopter arrived. However, the helicopter was unable to land in the immediate vicinity of the scene, so a vehicle from the Winnweiler Fire Department was dispatched to transport the crew from the landing site to the scene.
