The drone unit was dispatched to a search operation in Rockenhausen because a person had been reported missing by family members several hours earlier, and it was believed that the person might be in need of assistance. The team conducted several flights using a thermal imaging camera and an LED spotlight to locate the person from the air. After several hours of an unsuccessful search, the operation was called off.
