At the request of the police, the Lohnsfeld and Winnweiler fire departments were dispatched to an urgent door-opening call in Lohnsfeld. Upon arrival, the firefighters learned from family members present at the scene that the person inside the apartment was likely experiencing a medical emergency. Consequently, the fire department opened the door. The person was then handed over to the emergency medical services.
