The emergency medical services called in the fire department for an incident in Winnweiler because an aerial rescue vehicle (ARV) was needed to transport a patient out of a building. The Winnweiler Fire Department then responded to the scene with a turntable ladder and a crew transport vehicle. Once on site, the patient was rescued via the balcony using the turntable ladder and subsequently transported to the ambulance.
