The emergency medical services called in the fire department for an incident in Wartenberg-Rohrbach because a patient had to be transported to the ambulance via a narrow spiral staircase. The Wartenberg and Winnweiler units each dispatched one vehicle to the scene and, in cooperation with the emergency medical services, transported the patient to the ambulance using a stretcher sling, allowing him to be transported to an appropriate hospital.
