The Münchweiler Fire Department was dispatched to an incident on the B48 between Münchweiler and Neuhemsbach, as a traffic sign was protruding into the roadway on that section of the road, posing a danger to passing traffic. The firefighters cut the sign down and removed it, eliminating the hazard. The road authority was subsequently notified of the incident.
