A fallen tree was reported between Alsenbrück-Langmeil and Winnweiler; it was believed to be lying on the tracks. The Münchweiler and Winnweiler fire departments were subsequently alerted. Shortly thereafter, it became clear that the tracks belonged to the Zellertalbahn, which is currently not in operation. Consequently, there was no immediate danger, so the fire departments were able to stand down.
