Since a resident had not been seen for several days and had also failed to show up for scheduled appointments, the police called the fire department to open the door. The emergency medical services were also on the scene when the fire department arrived.
Firefighters were able to gain access without force through a tilted window and then opened the front door. The police then entered the building and found the resident safe and sound. The firefighters thus concluded their operation in consultation with the police.
