An employee at the public works yard notified the fire department that the water level of the Alsenz River had risen significantly and was threatening to flood the parking lot at the Winnweiler train station. A vehicle from the Winnweiler Fire Department was dispatched to assess the situation and determined that a passenger car was still in the danger zone. Consequently, the police were notified to locate the owner. Additionally, the parking lot was cordoned off by the public works department.
