The fire departments of Breunigweiler, Sippersfeld, and Winnweiler were called to a burning woodshed in Breunigweiler during the night from Wednesday to Thursday. Upon arrival, they found that the shed was already fully engulfed in flames.
The firefighters immediately began extinguishing the fire by deploying a C-hose from the outside. The fire was brought under control quickly, but the building had already burned down completely. There were no other buildings in the immediate vicinity, so there was no risk of the fire spreading. Firefighters from the Breunigweiler and Sippersfeld units then carried out thorough mop-up operations.
