A hedge fire was reported between Leithöfen and Höringen, prompting the fire departments from Höringen, Imsbach, and Winnweiler, as well as the Gehrweiler Fire Department from the neighboring municipality of Nordpfälzer-Land, to respond to the scene.
The first responders from the Höringen Fire Department confirmed that approximately 4 meters of hedge was on fire and immediately began firefighting operations. They were later supported by the tanker truck from the Winnweiler Fire Department. A total of approximately 1,500 liters of water was used to extinguish the fire.
