A fallen tree damaged a power line in the Kahlheckerhof area, causing power outages in the surrounding area (Eisenschmelz, Imsbach, Schweisweiler, Alsenbrück-Langmeil) as well as at the Kahlheckerhof itself. The fire department secured the scene and discussed the next steps with Pfalzwerke representatives on site. Since the wastewater treatment plant on the B48 was also affected by the power outage, the fire department ensured the power supply there using an emergency generator.
