A traffic accident involving two vehicles occurred on the B 48 near the steel mill. As a result, the Imsbach and Winnweiler fire departments were dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival at the scene, it became clear that the vehicles had collided head-on. The two occupants involved were treated by the crew of an ambulance that had already arrived. The fire department secured the scene from oncoming traffic and cleaned up spilled engine oil. The police were also on site to document the accident. The vehicles involved in the accident were then moved to the side of the road, and debris was cleared from the roadway. The road was subsequently reopened to traffic. The scene was handed over to the police, and the fire department personnel were able to conclude their operation.
