The fire departments of Börrstadt, Sippersfeld, and Winnweiler were called to an urgent door-opening incident in Börrstadt after it was noticed that the resident had not been seen for some time. Since it could not be ruled out that he was in a medical emergency, the fire department, along with an ambulance and the police, responded to the scene.
Since it was not possible to make contact with the resident on site, the Sippersfeld Fire Department opened the door after consulting with the police. The emergency medical services then entered the apartment, accompanied by the police. The person inside was located and treated by the emergency medical services. After the apartment door was properly locked again, the fire department was able to conclude its operation.
