In Münchweiler, a landlord was concerned about a resident whom he hadn't seen for two days and called the fire department, fearing that the person might be in a medical emergency.
The Münchweiler and Winnweiler fire departments responded to the scene and initially attempted to make contact with the resident by knocking and calling out. When this proved unsuccessful, the firefighters proceeded to open the door quickly and without force. Fortunately, it was determined shortly thereafter that the person was safe and well. The firefighters then concluded their operation and returned to their stations.
