On Friday afternoon, the Breunigweiler, Sippersfeld, and Winnweiler fire departments were alerted to a traffic accident with an unclear situation, which had been reported via a vehicle’s “emergency call” system. According to the emergency call, the vehicle involved in the accident was believed to be on the K39 heading toward Sippersfeld.
Emergency responders drove along a wide section of the road but were unable to locate the scene of the accident. They later spoke with the caller, who explained that the situation did not require the fire department's assistance.
