In Steinbach, a large tree was in danger of falling onto the main road through town (L 394). Several branches were already lying on the sidewalk and the roadway. In addition, it was determined that two other trees were in danger of falling.
The Steinbach Fire Department eliminated the hazard using the winch on the tanker fire truck (TLF 8/15) and a chainsaw. The roadway had to be closed during the work.
