The fire departments of Breunigweiler, Sippersfeld, Steinbach, and Winnweiler were called out on Saturday morning to respond to a report of smoke outdoors in Sippersfeld. Upon arrival, it turned out that a resident was burning trash. Consequently, the police were called to the scene, and the owner was informed that the burning material had to be extinguished immediately.
Burning trash is strictly prohibited and poses an increased risk of forest and wildfires, especially during the dry season. We therefore urge the public to refrain from doing so!
