In Rockenhausen, the fire alarm system at a special-purpose facility was triggered. To ensure that sufficient personnel and equipment are available at the scene promptly in the event of an emergency, the Winnweiler Fire Department routinely responds to this type of call with the HLF (rescue and firefighting vehicle) and the DLK (turntable ladder with basket). In this instance, the firefighters did not need to take any action and were able to return to the station shortly thereafter.
