The fire departments in Münchweiler, Gonbach, and Winnweiler were called to respond to smoke coming from a building.
Upon arrival at the scene, it became apparent that a thuja hedge had caught fire. The owner had already extinguished the fire. The Gonbach Fire Department carried out final mop-up operations using a rapid-response tactic.
